HOW TO LOOK PERFECT


Now a days looking good has become a top priority by many people, if its for Instagram or just in general, a lot of people want to look the best they can! While the word ''PERFECT'' itself might give you unrealistic expectations it really isn't like that. 

You can manage to look your best by putting a little effort into certain features of your face/body the right way to become ''Perfect''. 

So lets start by thinking what makes a person beautiful other than wearing good clothes and taking a shower everyday (yes hygiene is important! You don't want to be that pretty person who smells bad) ....? Beauty consists of healthy skin, groomed eyebrows, maintained nails, shiny hair, clean feet, fluffy long eye lashes and so on. You get the idea right? But before that you must already think that you are perfect no matter what, so every morning when you wake up look in the mirror and say that you are PERFECT!



So follow this guide to be the best version of your self, read till the end to get a bonus tip. So lets get started!

1. HAVE GOOD SKIN

Good skin is the key to beauty. Now whatever type of skin you have right now is a result of genetic pattern inherited by your parents and/or the environmental factors but don't worry with proper care your skin can improve overtime :).



  • Take care of your skin by eating healthy foods like fruits, nuts, vegetables, lean protein plus drink loads of water at least 8 to be accurate. Do not consume oily and/or fatty foods these can cause breakouts or excessive oil production plus they are bad for your health in general. 
  • Wear SUNSCREEN everyday during the daytime even when there are clouds. I cannot stress on this more. There is no point of doing skin care if you don't wear sunscreen! 
  • Create in a simple skin care routine consisting of a cleanser, exfoliater,  toner, serum and a moisturizer.

PRO TIP: If you are in your early twenties I would also recommend you to start looking out for anti-aging products and habits, you will be thankful later on in life.



PRO TIP: If your skin has concerns (like acne, discoloration etc) please visit a dermatologists instead of following beauty guru/internet advises, don't get me wrong they know what they know but a doctor knows more. 



2. HAIR REMOVAL 

This is totally optional but it is worth the consideration. Practice hair removal for good hygiene meaning this only involves removing hair from the most hairy parts of the body.



If you have visible peach fuzz on your face and it gives a grey effect or moustache look 



then consider dermaplaning. It is a very affordable and easy way to remove hair from your face you can find many videos on YouTube on how to do it at home! Plus your hair won't grow back thicker!


3. GROOM EYEBROWS 

Eyebrows are a huge part of your look and they must be cared they right way. Apply castor oil to them every night with the help of an old mascara wond or your fingers. Pluck out and trim extra hair for a more define look. I would advise you to visit a well known professional (ones with a good reputation) who can can them done perfectly if you don't know how to do your eyebrows. 

PRO TIP: Get your eyebrows tinted to fill any bald patches, this way you won't have to do them every single day.

I'm sorry I had to!


4. LONG EYELASHES

Long eyelashes are a game changer and enhance your eyes. If you didn't notice already, beauty lies in the tiny little details! You aren't doing anything major to yourself but enhancing what you already have. 



Apply castor oil to your eyelashes every night to make them grow longer and stronger.


At night time=Old mascara wond+ Castor oil


5. MAINTAIN NAILS 

Maintain your nails. This means that you keep them clean and file them every week to keep a flattering shape. 



Stop the habit of biting your nails as this is very unflattering. 



If you like applying nail polish then make sure to remove and reapply a fresh coat every week as worse then biting nails is old looking chipped polish!


but nail polish isn't necessary at all!

6. HEALTHY HAIR 

Create a routine for your hair to make it silky, shiny straight or what ever you desire. 



Find a good shampoo and a conditioner for your hair. Also look for hydrating products like hair serums as your hair also needs moisture like your skin. Dry hair means brittle lifeless hair while hydrated hair means strong shiny hair. Try to limit heat exposure on your hair as it can be very damaging even when you apply a heat protectant. Also invest in a hair product with SPF in it to protect you hair from the UV rays.


PRO TIP: Change your hair style for a different if you have been wearing the same style for ages and it doesn't have to be dramatic just a simple haircut or a different way to tie your hair might do the trick.


7. PEDICURE AND MANICURE

Take time to look after your hands and feet. Apply a hand cream or a body lotion to your hands after doing the dishes as the soap can be very drying. 



Scrub your feet to remove any dead skin and apply a hydrating cream for softer feet. Make sure your toe nails are clean and don't have any dirt under them! Also if make sure your shoes are odor free, if not wash them. Keep your shoes and feet clean.

 8. SMILE AND BE PASSIONATE

This might be a simple one if I had to tell you to follow any one advise from this post it is definitely this one and I am not even joking. Smile is a charismatic feature that will immediately enhance your face because it releases happy hormones like dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin and endorphins. 


It will make you very look very likable, friendly and approachable. So take care of your teeth and avoid caffeinated drinks as they will stain your teeth. Keep your lips hydrated, apply a hydrating lip balm when necessary. 
Carry mints with you all the time so your mouth doesn't smell bad. Visit a dentist every 6 months or once a year for a checkup.



Do stuff You love or accompany people that make you happy. If you like being alone at times (like me) then read an inspirational book or watch a fun movie or do something creative. I like to take pictures and sometimes try a new recipe but my cooking..... is um still at progress... hehe 


9. SMELL NICE 

This is optional. You can chose to smell nice or smell like nothing at all. You can shower in the morning everyday and wear good smelling body lotions (lush ones are popular) or wear a perfume but not to strong! Strong or too much perfume is very unattractive trust me. Just apply some as you normally would, a small amount goes a long way. 


10. WEAR MAKEUP THAT SUITS YOU

Learn to do makeup that suits your face. Your makeup doesn't have to be heavy. Makeup is entirely personal you can do it however you please, but I would advise you to put natural makeup. Natural makeup is always a timeless classic! 


 Heavy makeup can look pretty but it is very inconvenient for everyday purpose and hard to maintain for during work/school hours. Plus makeup is about enhancing your features not covering them, so have fun!

HAVE A HEALTHY MINDSET

Yes this might sound a bit odd but as I mentioned earlier that happiness is a charm! It will enhance you to the heights that you can't even imagine! So always hope for the best!


''Treat yourself like you would do to someone you love''

You can choose to be a positive, non- problematic person with good vibes than some pretty-face with ugly attitude. I don't mean you should be a people pleaser but I am trying to say that you shouldn't do or say anything unlikable to anyone, something that might be offensive or hurt someone. As they always say ''If you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all''.
